We offer Olive oil tasting under the shade of olive trees, in an olive grove. An unique experience of outdoor olive oil tasting.

Our experience is organized in Amari Valley, 30 km from Rethymno city, near Assomatos Monastry. The venue is one of the biggest monumental olive grove in Mediterranean area. We walk around olive trees, over 2000 years old that looks like sculptures. The local variety risks to disappear, but the trees that still stands around, make the olive groove be the Gesthman garden of our days.

Itinerary

Olive Oil tasting in the moumental olive grove in Amari Valley. Under the shade of the olive trees, we taste Cretan extra virgin olive oil of differents aroma, flavors and types. History, culture, civilization of olive oil in Crete, tips to know and more information of how to chose and cook olive oil. We end by a paing olive oil and food and some raki. Local organic products and typical flavors pairing with the best olive oil of Crete.
