During our activity you will keep away from the touristic traps. You will have the chance to attend a terrace concert with rare songs from Minor Asia by two modern Athenian musicians. Our concert will be hosted in our place, where we play and work. There, we will have the opportunity to share with you the historical background of the area and era through songs and stories. This way we hope you get a clearer view, of how modern Greece has evolved.
Since you will be at our place, there's no other way for us, except to offer you a cheese platter, fruits and some wine!

Itinerary

As soon as we meet we will head for our home and our terrace, where our concert will be hosted. During our activity, you will have the opportunity to listen to rare traditional greek songs from Minor Asia in a beautiful terrace of a house that has had it's own -and relative to the context- history, since in 1940's it was used as refugee's home. The music we are playing is the heritage left by those greek refugees that lived in this and other houses of the neighborhood.
In the meantime, and while taking pleasure of a cheese platter consisting of greek cheeses and a variety of seasonal fruits, we will guide you through this important history chapter for modern Greece, the refugee crisis of 1920 and the exhange of populations between Greece and Turkey. Together we will explore the Greece of 1920-40's through music and stories from that time.
Of course we can have the opportunity to chat together enjoying a glass of wine.
