Hungary Danube Bend day tour by car
Let us show you around the scenic Danube Bend, understandably the most visited spot in Hungary after Budapest. We take you through Hungarys turbulent medieval history with the help of three cities. Fortresses, fascinating landscapes, a near-Mediterranean town, and more.
Itinerary: Esztergom, the former capital of the historical Hungarian Kingdom awaits you with its fortress and grandiose basilica. We take you to a quick photo stop to our northern neighbor Slovakia, to marvel at the impressive view of Hungarys largest church.
Then we drive to Visegrád where youll see why this part of the Danube Bend was the favorite spot of royalty. The panoramic view from the hills and fortress of Visegrád is absolutely captivating. In Visegrád we include a lunch break at a nearby restaurant, too. To round off our trip, we visit the charming town of Szentendre. Along its cobblestone streets we'll reveal its cultural diversity and the reason why it is called the 'town of artists'.
