Ice cave trip

In this trip you will get to experience one of the most beautiful caves we have seen in the last years called Sapphire. You will also get a chance to see two crevasses located next to the cave in Breiðarmerkurjökull which is an outlet glacier from Vatnajökull glacier the biggest glacier in Europe outside of the Arctic Circle. Your trip will begin at the glacier lagoon parking lot where you will board our super jeep and then we will drive you for approx. 25 minutes through the snowy landscape on a country road only accessible by super jeeps. When we arrive at the „parking lot“ for the ice cave you will be given a helmet and crampons and then we will walk for about 20-30 minutes to the edge of the glacier where the infamous Sapphire ice cave is located. When we get to the ice cave you can take your time to walk around and enjoy the amazing view, take some wonderful photos and make memories you will never forget.
