Stop At: Thingvellir National Park, Thingvellir Iceland

Þingvellir anglicised as Thingvellir, is a national park in the municipality of Bláskógabyggð in southwestern Iceland, about 40 km northeast of Reykjavík. Þingvellir is a site of historical, cultural, and geological importance and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland. It lies in a rift valley that marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. To its south lies Þingvallavatn, the largest natural lake in Iceland.

The Althing, the national parliament of Iceland, was established at Þingvellir in 930 and held its sessions there until 1798. Þingvellir National Park (Icelandic: þjóðgarðurinn á Þingvöllum) was founded in 1930, marking the one-thousandth anniversary of the Althing. It was later expanded to protect natural phenomena in the surrounding area and became a World Heritage Site in 2004.

Stop At: Geysir, Haukadalur Iceland

You will have a walk around the Geysir area.

The Great Geysir does not erupt on a regular basis but right next to the great Geysir is the Geysir Strokkur. which erupts every 4-8 minutes.

Stop At: Langjokull Glacier, Iceland

We will get up to the Langjökkul glacier area and sometimes we get the chance to stand on it but Langjökull is the second largest glacier in Iceland and therefore in Europe.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Gullfoss Car Park, Iceland

Gullfoss is without a doubt the most visited waterfall in Iceland and has been a destination for travellers since before commercial airline travel in the world. The waterfall is 31 meters high (101ft) in two steps 11m and then 20m.

Stop At: Faxi (Vatnsleysufoss) Waterfall, Tungufljót River, Skalholt Iceland

This waterfall is low and wide with spring water in it and a fishladder right next to it.
