Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati - Kaziranga

Stop At: Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam 781015, India
Arrive at Guwahati Airport.
You will then be transferred to the Kaziranga National Park.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat India
As you reach Kaziranga, check-in at the hotel/homestay.
The evening will be free for leisure and fun.
Duration: 12 hours

Day 2: Kaziranga National Park

Stop At: Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat India
Early morning, explore any one zone of the national park riding on an elephant(on your own). Kaziranga National Park is home to
many species of animals & birds including one-horned Rhino. Apart from the one horned Rhino, other species found in the National Park are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild buffalo, elephants,
pelicans, storks, dartars & various water bodies. Return to the resort for the breakfast.
In the afternoon, enjoy jeep safari through the national park.
Return & have a peaceful stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park - Shillong

Stop At: Umiam Lake, Umiam, Meghalaya 793103, India
After breakfast, proceed for Shillong, capital of Meghalaya. On the way, visit Umiam Lake with its surrounding Sylvan hills. Umiam Lake is a mesmerizing man made reservoir which was formed after a dam was constructed to generate hydroelectric power. It is encircled with lush green hills & the sunrise at the lake is a treat to watch.

On arrival at Shillong, check in at the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Enjoy your overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4: Shillong - Cherrapunji

Stop At: Shillong Peak, Shillong 793004 India
After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji. In the mid-way, visit Shillong Peak to have a picturesque view of the entire city. Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city.

Stop At: Nohkalikai Falls, Sohra India
Nohkalikai Falls are one of the highest waterfalls in India & is one of the popular tourist attraction of Cherrapunji. Also visit Garden of caves, Elephant falls and explore the spellbound Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister Falls.
Enjoy the beautiful evening. Have dinner & enjoy your stay at
Cherrapunji.

Day 5: Cherrapunji - Mawlynnong - Dawki - Shillong

Stop At: Mawlynnong Village, East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, Mawlynnong India
After early breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong is a picturesque village located in East Khasi hills along the India - Bangladesh border. It is declared as the cleanest village in Asia. This place offers many interesting sights such as the root bridge & balancing rock.

Stop At: Dawki River, Dawki 793103 India
Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India-Bangladesh border. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Umangot river.

In the evening, drive back to Shillong.
