The 1000-year-old fort at Ranthambore in the southeast, Rajasthan has enjoyed the luxury of royalty and faced the wrath of battle. Located in Sawai Madhopur district, a little over 100 km from the capital of the state Jaipur, the fort now stands as part of an enchanting landscape and speaks of fascinating history.

The Great Emperor Akbar once attempted to gain control over this fort but little did he know that tigers would rule here in the not so far future. With over 200 species of birds and various marsh water crocodiles, the fort is now part of the protected wildlife heaven called the Ranthambore National Park. The park is home to the national animal of India, the tiger and gives a unique opportunity to see the magnificent beast in a natural environment.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Day 4: Agra - Ranthambore

After Breakfast, you will be driven to Ranthambore, Enroute visits Fatehpur Sikri this magnificent fortified ancient city, 40km west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. After Visiting Fatepur Sikri you will be driven to Ranthambore home to one of Asia’s best wildlife sanctuaries. Experience some of the most breathtaking sights and sounds of the wildlife in India. Day 5: Ranthambore Safari

Home to a large tiger population, sighting these magnificent creatures is no difficulty. Then, return to the hotel for the night.
