Rakh is located at the top of hill and surrounding by abundant of trees and this village is one of the oldest village in Himachal Pradesh.“Rakkh” it means Hill top and also it is known for oldest culture and traditions of local persons.Village is the best place to learn Indian culture and tradition and interaction with villagers, where you will get opportunity with simple joys of personal interaction, reconnecting with nature and locals.

Your driver will pick up from the hotel as per schedule time and proceed towards the village to enjoy a day with rural people and experience their distinctive lifestyle,culture and traditions. Rakh village is approximately 15-20 kms from Dharamshala and will take 45-60 minutes.Your driver will drop you a certain point(Rakkh bridge) where you will start your tour with your guide.

Your guide will take you first Manimahesh temple which is in top of Rakkh village. It is one of the famous and Historical temples of the village and dedication to lords shiva. After taking the blessing of god,proceed to inside of the village life where you will meet with villagers .

During this walking tour,catch a glimpse of their lifestyle and creative skills passed down through generations remaining within the family and community.During the tour you will meet local villagers and analysis the lifestyle and living of the people residing in the area.You will spend couples of hours to seeing the activities.Your guide will introduce about the day to day activities of the villagers and historical aspects and also you will see the different architecture of village's houses.

After that your guide will take you natural flour (wheat) mill which runs by using natural resources (without electricity and any other electronic sources).Later on your guide will take you a local family's home.where you will interact and enjoy the sip of tea with local family.You will get change to peep into the world of villagers  - the way they live, cook food, there culture and traditions that will leave a manifest impression on your mind.

After that complete the village walk by visiting rest of the part of the village.Then came back to Rakkh bridge.Your driver will drop you at Hotel.
