This tour is ideal for those of you who plan to spend more than just a day in Agra. There is more to see in and around Agra than just the Taj. Spend a day with me hear my stories, tell me yours and let me show you places and sights that will make you go 'wow' more than you can count! :). If you like architecture, history, off the beaten track places then you would thoroughly enjoy this tour.

During this tour we will be visiting three Hindus temples (6th to 10th century) within 1.5 hours driving distance from Agra. I have named them 'The Bateshwara Temple Circuit' which comprises of Bateshwara Temples (ruins like Angkor Wat in Cambodia), Garh Padhavali (carvings) and Mitawali (inspired the design of the Parliament House in Delhi). The temples are devoid of mass tourism. The area had a bad reputation for bandits but they are long gone leaving behind some incredible Indian history and architecture. Please dress up conservatively as you will be entering temples.

Stop At: Mitawali Temple, Mitawali 1.6 Km from District Main City Morena Gaun, Morena 476115 India

Guided tour of the temple which inspired the construction of the Parliament House in Delhi. This ancient temple is circular in shape and is on top of a hill which offers panoramic views of the countryside. A very unique temple like none other in the region

Dedicated to Lord Shiva these 6th to 10th century temples were recently restored by the government. They are off the beaten track as the region was in famous for it's dacoits / bandits. Now they are long gone giving us the opportunity to explore these 200+ temples often compared to the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia.
