A precursor to the Taj Mahal! That's why it is also called "Baby Taj". The very first major structure from the vault of Mughals to be entirely made of white marble.

One of the earliest looms in India was established in Agra in 1580 by the third Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Since then Agra has been one of the biggest center for Persian hand knotted carpets.
Kalra's cottage industry is known for producing the finest Mughal styled hand knotted carpets in wool and silk. There are looms which are more than 100 years old and are still being worked upon.
Here, you can see the live demonstration of the making of those carpets and also have an opportunity to buy one of them. Since, it's a part of heritage artworks they are exempted from all taxes and their shipping and insurance is also being covered by the them.
