The City Palace is built in a flamboyant style and is considered the largest of its type in the state of Rajasthan. It was built atop a hill, in a fusion of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, providing a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings.

Stop At: Bagore Ki Haveli Museum, Gangaur Ghat Marg Hotel Gangaur Palace, Udaipur 313001 India

Right in front of the magnificent lake Pichola, the haveli was built in the 18th century by the prime minister of Mewar, Amar Chand Badwa. It has over a hundred rooms, with displays of costumes and modern art.

Ambrai Ghat or Manjhi Ghat is a main ghat situated near the waterfront of Lake Pichola. Ambrai Ghat is popular for its lake-side location surrounded by many popular hotels including the Ambrai restaurant. It is also popular for the picturesque view of City Palace, and surrounding lakes.

Of the prime lakefronts of the city of lakes, the Gangaur or Gangori Ghat is situated at the banks of Lake Pichola. It is a very popular tourist attraction and is very vibrant, especially during the holy festival of Gangaur.

Constructed in 1678, the magnificent lake is undoubtedly the most popular landmark of the city of lakes. The clear blue water and the three islands in the middle of the lake make it even more pleasing. It is a popular local and tourist hangout spot in town.

Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Courtyard or Garden of the Maidens) is a major garden and a popular tourist space in Udaipur. It lies in the northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool and marble elephants. It was built by Rana Sangram Singh. There is also a small museum here.

Gulab Bagh (Sajjan Niwas Garden) is the largest garden in Udaipur. It is spread over 100 acres (40 ha) of land and has innumerable varieties of roses. Gulab Bagh gets its name from the abundance of rose flowers it has.

The Monsoon Palace, also known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, is a hilltop palatial residence builtin 1884 and overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. The palace offers a panoramic view of the city's lakes, palaces, and surrounding countryside. It was built chiefly to watch the monsoon clouds; hence, appropriately, it is popularly known as Monsoon Palace. It is said that the Maharana built it at the top of the hill to get a view of his ancestral home, Chittaurgarh.

The Ahar Cenotaphs are a group of cenotaphs located in Ahar, about 2 km east of Udaipur. The site contains more than 250 cenotaphs of the maharajas of Mewar that were built over approximately 350 years. There are 19 chhatris that commemorate the 19 maharajas who were cremated here.

Shilpgram is a rural arts and crafts complex, situated 3 km from Udaipur. The center is spread over an undulating terrain of about 70 acres of land, surrounded by the Aravali mountains. Shilpgram is an ethnographic museum that depicts the lifestyles of the folk and tribal people of the region.
