Locals refer to this place as the ‘bhoot bangla’ or haunted house, claiming that the palace is abuzz with paranormal activity. There are a lot of beliefs about what has made the place haunted. But rather than believing in the myths, it is always better to go and figure out for yourself.

Chand Baori is an ancient stepwell situated in the Abhaneri village. It was built by King Chanda in the 9th century and is one of the largest step-wells in the world. Stepwells were extensively used in ancient Rajasthan to reach to the water deep underground as the state is dry.
