It is an interesting activity designed for a special occasion of the year, which is a light festival, Diwali. You must have idea about the beautiful festival but getting a chance to be the part of the festival like a local can be very exciting. You will be picked up around 1 PM from your location in Delhi. Around 2 PM reach the local home. You will be welcomed to a partially decorated house. On arrival, light snacks with masala tea or any soda beverages will be served. Help the host with the decorations and get some henna designs on your hands. Dressed for the evening and visit a local market to see the decorations in the area. Visit a local temple to witness the prayer, come back and lit the lamps and candles. Learn 1 Indian snack and enjoy a kind of high tea with lots of special snacks and sweets. Enjoy some fire work. Learn 1-2 dishes in local kitchen. Help to lay your dinner table and enjoy your meal. Depart between 10 – 11 PM, you will be presented a gift along with a sweet box.

You will be picked up from your desired location from Delhi and driven to a local home in Delhi. You will be the part of arrangements, cooking, decorating house with flowers and lamps. Learn one Indian snack for the evening tea. 1 – 2 dishes for dinner. Witness the traditional celebration in the house and see the Diwali prayer in a nearby temple. Have a kind of high tea in the afternoon with lots of Indian snacks and sweets. Get some henna designs on your beautiful hands. You can also choose to wear Indian traditional clothes for the evening. 3 -4 course dinner will be served. You can add your ideas to the celebration. A gift will be presented to you for the lifelong memory and as a Diwali tradition. Enjoy firework in the neighborhood. Try some light firework yourself just to get the real feel.
