Guided Tour to Fort cochin and Mattancherry by TUK TUK, Experience the Wxcitement of Travelling in a 3 wheeler Though the Narrow roads of Mattancherry and Fort Cochin.
You will be welcomed by your private guide at the cruise port. You will be transferred to Fort Cochin by private cab and your private guided TUK TUK experience lasts for 3-4 hours. Explore Kochi streets and learn about Kochi's rich history from your Driver who is a local expert. You will visit the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays). You will continue with a visit to the Jewish synagogue (closed on Friday noon & Saturdays), the Dutch cemetery and the Indo-Portuguese museum, located in the garden of Bishop’s house this is the best place to gain insights into the Portuguese culture and India’s first Catholic community.
The next stop on your tour is a visit to St Francis Church (built by the Portuguese in 1510 A.D) and Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, constructed by the Portuguese during the year 1505. You will have the opportunity to see the Chinese fishing nets and the mechanical method of catching fish by local fishermen in Fort Kochi. At the end of your tour you return to Cochin port.
