Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort from Delhi by Car

Visit of Two World UNECSO heritage Sites in Agra, The Epitome of Love, meaning Crown of the Palace is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1631 by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal.

06:30- 7:00 AM: Get picked up by your driver with an air conditioned cab from your desired place in Delhi/NCR or Airport/any hotel in Delhi

07:00 AM: After the Break Fast Start your 3hrs journey to Agra via Yamuna Express Way

10:00 AM: Arrive at Agra and your tour guide will join you enroute and take you Taj Mahal.  The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum which contains the bodies of the Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz. Located on the South bank of the Yamuna river, it was commissioned in 1631 and completely over a period of 2 decades by thousands of skilled artisans. The name Taj Mahal translates to “Crown of the Palace” and it is one of the man-made wonders of the world.

12:00 PM: Complete your Taj Mahal visit and exit the monument and complex. You will be taken to a restaurant reputable with tourists to enjoy a delicious buffet-style Indian lunch.

01:00 PM: After lunch, you will next visit the Agra Fort. Agra Fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.

02:30 PM: After the Agra fort, Your driver will drive you back to Delhi via same Yamuna express Way and drop you at your desired place in Delhi/NCR or Airport by 05:30 - 06:00 PM
