Rishikesh is a city in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River just 20 km from Haridwar. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar/ Rishikesh (by DEHRADUN SHTBDI train no 12017, 0645/ 1130hr)

Stop At: HARIDWAR - Uttarakhand baluki bavan, Unnamed Road, Haridwar, Uttarakhand 249401, India
Pick up from your city hotel in Delhi and transfer to railway station to board train for Haridwar/ Rishikesh.

On arrival at Haridwar Railway station assistance and transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing in Haridwar visit temples and ghats. Also attend Holy River Ganges aarti on Har ki Pauri. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Haridwar/ Rishikesh

Stop At: Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga School, Village Ghughtayni Talli,Ward No-5 Upper Tapovan,Off Badrinath Road, Rishikesh 249192 India
Early morning yoga class followed by breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing in Rishikesh visiting temples, ashrams and ghats. Overnight at hotel.
