Day 1: Arrival Leh

Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Leh - Gurudwara Pathar Shahib, Magnetic Hill , Sangam - Uleytokpo
Stop At: Magnetic Hill, Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, Leh 194101 India
After breakfast in the morning leave for Uletokpo camping which is one of the most beautiful camping in the Ladakh region. En-route
visit Gurudwara Pathar Shahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Indus & Zanskar Confrance) After drive to you will reach Uletokpo. In the Evening, enjoy sitting on the bank of river coming down from the River side. Overnight stay at camp.

Stop At: Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, Leh India
Located at 6KM from Nimo valley towards the Leh city on Kargil - Leh highway. If you are travelling to Leh from Manali, you will have to visit this place from Leh city at the distance of just 35KM IF you are goging to Leh to Kargil then stop at this spot which is famously known as Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers. There is special points are developed by the authority so that you can have a beautiful view of this confluence from the height. Zanskar river is shiny blue in colour, on the other hand Indus looks a little green. In the Winter Season - Zanskar freezes completely during some part of the winter to enable the Chadar trek, the Indus keeps flowing though it too would have started to freeze in patches. Summer or winter, this confluence makes for a great sight.

Day 3: Uleytokpo Camp Lamayuru Monastery and Gompa, Drive back leh Visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace

Lamayuru Monastery was founded in the 10th century which is located at a scenic spot at a distance around 125 kms. away in the west of Leh. Bewitching beauty of its spot has subjected this monastery to a legend.
It is believed that Lamayuru was originally a lake. Attracted by the beauty of the spot, a Lama blessed the lake. As a result, water of the lake proceeded up to the mountains vacating the spot on which the Lama intended to build the monastery

Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district, Ladakh, in the north India. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. The Shanti Stupa holds the relics of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama

Some parts of the film were shot at Pangaong Lake, Ladakh and some in a school near Leh named "The Druk White Lotus School" . The school is located 15 km from Leh town on the Leh-Manali highway in the village Shey. This school became a popular tourist spot after huge success of the movie and after damage of its building by cloudburst that struck Leh on August 2010. The actor Amir Khan visited the school after the incident and helped to raise funds for rebuilding damage structure of the school.

Day 5: Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass - Hunder (120 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
Stop At: Nubra Valley, 194101 India
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).
Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp.
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Hanle has a lovely hanle monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village that is a home of about 1000 people. Hanle monastery is a 17th century monastery of the Drukpa lineage. The views from the top of monastery are just breath taking. Hanle is also house an Indian astronomical observatory which is the world highest observatory in the world at a staggering height of 4500 mtrs. Overnight in guest house.

Tso Moriri or Lake Moriri or "Mountain Lake", is a lake in the Ladakhi part of the Changthang Plateau in Jammu and Kashmir in Northern India. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve.
