From Delhi 2 Day Delhi and Jaipur Excursion

Explore Old and New Delhi on the first day of the tour and travel to Jaipur to explore the Pink City. Visit the principal tourist attraction like Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar & The Hawa Mahal.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi sightseeing and transfer to Jaipur

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Spend 2 days visiting some of India’s most iconic monuments. The driver will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad or Ghaziabad and take you to explore India’s capital from the comfort of a private, air-conditioned car.

Visit the well-known attractions of Old Delhi including Jama Masjid, Bangla Sahib, and Chandni Chowk market. You will then visit New Delhi’s top attractions, such as Gandhi Smriti.

Besides this, you will also drive past important monuments in New Delhi, including India Gate, the Presidential Residence (Rashtrapati Bhavan), Parliament House (Sansad Bhawan).

Later in the Late Afternoon after exploring Delhi, drive to Jaipur, check-in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing and transfer back to Delhi

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Next day post breakfast, we start exploring the beautiful Pink City known as Jaipur. Our time of tour starting in Jaipur is 8:00 AM

Our First destination is Amber Fort, located high on a hill, is one of the principal tourist attractions in the city of Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its artistic Hindu style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace.

Later we proceed to our Next Point Knows as Hawa Mahal or The Palace of the Breeze. It was essentially a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace.

Now we head for our Lunch (Own Expense) at a very authentic Rajasthani Restaurant. Enjoy a delicious Rajasthani Lunch which is rich in taste and color.

Post Lunch, Visit the City Palace, The City Palace is an impressive structure that continues to serve as the Maharaja’s residence. Some of the areas are restricted for public visits in this mansion.

Next, we proceed to Jantar Mantar; The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial sundial, consisting of a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth’s axis.

Next, proceed to Jal Mahal or Water Palace; this is a small palace that is built right in the center of a lake. You can also explore the local markets near to the Jal Mahal.

At the end of the trip, drive back to Delhi at around 3:30 PM. Get dropped off back to Delhi Hotel/Airport at around 8::30 PM.
