Hariyali eco-walk

Since we understood the threat global warming has put us in, we have been wanting to do every little possible to help save our forests and mountains.
If you're an environment lover like us and believe in doing your tiny bit to conserve the Himalayan ecosystem and environment, then this walk is for you. Together we will try to make a small difference by giving back what we can.

Itinerary

When you arrive at our place, we will discuss what we are going to do, our views on the environment over tea and break into groups, depending on how many of us are there. We'll form a group or teams (if we are more than four) and set on a trail here in Mirik, into the forest area picking up non-bio-degradable waste such as plastic bottles, chips bags, sweet wrappers, etc. and collect them in sacks. Plastic pollution has become a major threat to the Himalayan ecosystem and we wish to control this, one person at a time.
If you happen to book with us during the monsoon season, we might even plant some trees along the way.
We will cover about a kilometer and then return back. The sacks will then be sent to the Municipality for further waste collection.
