Your tour starts from one of the greatest educational instituted in Goa. Established on 24th November 1871, the Institute of Menezes Braganza is a prominent cultural institution of long-standing repute in Goa, promotes language/ literature, art, and culture in the state.

Built in 1702, now the Maquinez Palace has been restored and renovated and it houses the offices of the Entertainment Society of Goa and the organizational partners of the International Film Festival of India.

Established in 2004 by the government of Goa, the entertainment society of Goa is a nodal agency in the organization of the International Film Festival of India. The motive behind establishing it was to making Goa a world-class entertainment center.

This garden was built in the memory of the greatest leaders of Goa during the Portuguese era, Luis Gomes, who contributed a lot to the equality, freedom, and justice of the people. It has smaller yet neatly manicured lawns and name-tagged flowering plants and shrub varieties. A towering statue of Luis Gomes with marble plaques on all sides welcomes the visitors.
