Our tour guide will take you around the city for sightseeing, starting with Jama Masjid. Jama Masjid isIndia’s largest mosque, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1655. You will see the stunningly engraved calligraphy in Persian at the entrances ofJamaMosque’sprayer hall. Jama Masjid, having Mughal architecture has three domes and four minarets, a plethora of tourists and worshippers can be seen till sunset. The teela (tower like a lighthouse) can be reached by climbing snake like staircases, surrounded by cavernous walls and dark alleys.
