Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Agra and Jaipur by Train (B,L)

Pass By: India Gate, Rajpath Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
5am Pickup from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida, and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station where you board your deluxe train to city of the Taj Mahal, Agra.

Your super-fast train Shatabdi Exp departs at 6am from New Delhi Railway Station. Breakfast will be served onboard, while you enjoy the countryside during the 2-hour trip.

8am Arrive in Agra Railway Station you will be met by your representative/driver at the main exit gate. Visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and the world's best-known tomb, standing testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays).

Next we visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. and made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Lunch Break, Lunch will be provided at one of the best Local AC Restaurant.

After lunch you may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work.

Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leatherware, brassiere, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work.

Next, begin your 4 Hours journey to the "pink city" of Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur City Tour and Delhi by Train (B,L,D)

8am Visit Amber Fort situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. The image of the Amber Fort is beautifully reflected in the lake below.

After Amber fort you will make a photo tour stop of Jal Mahal the rajput style "Water Palace" which sits in the center of the Man Sarobar lake. The lake is often dry in the summer but winter monsoons frequently turn it into a beautiful lake filled with water hyacinths.

Enjoy a second photo tour stop of Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds built in 1799 A.D. This five-storied building along the main street of the old city is a pink sandstone masterpiece with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows.

Lunch Break, Buffet lunch will be provided at an air-conditioned restaurant.

On this second days shopping tour, you will enjoy more of the shops in Jaipur to discover the variety of products offered. This opportunity also affords you the chance to make gift purchases for others or yourself especially if you happened to forget on the first day.

After a memorable day, you will transfer to Jaipur Railway Station. The train will depart at 5:50pm and you will enjoy dinner on board. 

Your train arrives at 10:40pm New Delhi Railway Station where you will be met by your representative who will assist you in boarding your vehicle. You will be transferred to your hotel in Delhi.
