Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Shillong

Your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway station marks the commencement of your journey to Assam and Meghalaya. From Guwahati, you start for Shillong, the happening capital city of Meghalaya. Our representative who will be waiting for you at the arrival point will assist in your transport. Enroute Shillong, visit Umium Lake or Barapni, the vast, placid lake surrounded by sylvan hills. Enter the main city; check into your hotel; and after a quick lunch, step out to enjoy shopping in Police Bazar. Stay overnight in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong – Mawllynnong – Dawki -Shillong

Stop At: Mawlynnong Village, East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, Mawlynnong India
Mawllynnong is the cleanest village in Asia and hence, a must visit in your Meghalaya tour. Visit the Living root bridge near mawllynnong.

Stop At: Dawki River, Dawki 793103 India
Now, head to Dawki. En route, beautiful waterfalls present an Scenic sight. In the town, you will meet the Umngot River, which is believed to be cleanest of the country and had crystal clear waters. A boat ride on these waters is an amazing experience. Wrap the trip up within a day and return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

You must start early to be able to cover almost all the top sights of Meghalaya. Seven Sister Falls, Cherrapunjee View Point, and Mawsmai Cave one after another. It may rain incessantly or in breaks as you travel around Cherrapunjee but should be able to enjoy it totally going by the fact that this is the wettest place on the earth!. Stay Overnight at Cherrapunji and enjoy the nature at Night.
