Forests, mountains, and rivers have taken such a shape and scope that one really feels the massiveness of nature. Huge waterfalls, sacred forests, and caves in Meghalaya have been hidden from the world for many years. This journey is to explore this part of the world, meet people living there and spend time in nature.

Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong

Stop At: Umiam Lake, Meghalaya
On arrival, meet our representative and drive to Shillong. On the way, visit a popular Barapani Lake.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Police Bazar, Downtown, Shillong India
Roam around in evening at Police bazaar in Shillong. Stay overnight in Shillong.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji

Stop At: Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum, State Central Library, IGP Point, Shillong India
After breakfast, visit the famous State museum Of Shillong and then drive to Cherrapunji.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Elephant Falls, Shillong India
Stopover to explore Elephant falls and Sacred Forest on the way.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Nohsngithiang (Seven Sisters) Falls, East Khasi Hills 1 Km from Mawsmai Village, Sohra 793108 India
On arrival, check-in at Hotel and visit the famous seven sister’s falls in the evening. Stay overnight in Cherrapunji.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: Cherrapunji

Stop At: Roots Bridges, Mawlynnong India
After breakfast, take a small trek to double decker living Root Bridge – one of the many wonders of Meghalaya.

Day 4: Cherrapunji to Shillong

Stop At: Dawki River, Dawki 793103 India
After breakfast, head to Mawlynong village – known as Asia’s cleanest village. Later, visit Dawki town to see the crystal clear water sights.

Day 5: Shillong to Guwahati

Stop At: Kamakhya Temple, Nilachal Hill, Guwahati 781010 India
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya temple in Guwahati and go for a boat ride in the evening.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Brahmaputra River, Assam 783330, India
Spend a relaxed evening and enjoy the sunset of Bharmaputra River. Spend overnight in Guwahati.
