One Day Ajmer Pushkar Tour from Jaipur by Car

Morning pickup from your hotel in Jaipur and transfer you to Pushkar in an Air-Conditioner vehicle/Car. Pushkar is India's oldest city. It is located on the shores of Pushkar lake. You first visit famous Pushkar lake - which is supposed to be the only worship place of God Brahma Ji in the world. Pushkar Lake is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats (a series of steps leading to the lake), where pilgrims throng in large numbers to take a sacred bath, especially around Kartik Poornima (October–November) when the Pushkar Fair is held. Later visit Jagatpita Brahma Mandir (Brahma Temple) of the 14th century - the only temple of God Brahma in the world. There you can also do traditional Pooja. Even you get time for shopping. After sightseeing of Pushkar, return to Jaipur via Ajmer where you can visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Adhai Din Ka Jhopra. Later in the evening we will transfer you to your hotel in Jaipur.

You first visit famous Pushkar lake - which is supposed to be the only worship place of God Brahma Ji in the world. Pushkar Lake is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats (a series of steps leading to the lake), where pilgrims throng in large numbers to take a sacred bath, especially around Kartik Poornima (October–November) when the Pushkar Fair is held. A dip in the sacred lake is believed to cleanse sins and cure skin diseases. Over 500 Hindu temples are situated around the lake precincts.

Stop At: Ganahera Brahma Temple Rd, Pushkar 305022 India

Take a dip in the holy Pushkar Lake and later visit Jagatpita Brahma Mandir (Brahma Temple) of the 14th century - the only temple of God Brahma in the world. From outside you can see the beautiful marble and stone construction and see distinct shikara (red pinnacle). Then you enter the temple along with a beautiful view all side. There you see the image of Lord Brahma with four faces and four hands, each facing in different directions. There you can also do traditional Pooja (Prayers).

After sightseeing of Pushkar, return to Jaipur via Ajmer where you can visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah - The shrine has the grave of the revered saint, Moinuddin Chisti.

Stop At: Adhai-din ka Jhonpra Mosque, Ander Kote Rd, Ajmer 305001 India

Visit Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, a large and imposing structure in the city of Ajmer. Originally a Sanskrit college with a temple of Saraswati within it, it was converted into a mosque by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak, on the orders of Muhammad Ghori, in 1192 CE.
