Our exciting walking tour of the pink city kicks off at the art deco building of Raj Mandir cinema that stands out as one of the iconic landmarks of the city. This famous movie theatre of Jaipur is renowned for its old world character in modern times – no multiplexes, heavy curtains that are lowered in the movie interval.

Time to try some Irresistible local snack before heading further – how about pampering your taste buds with the aromatic and crispy dal filled local snack called Kachori and lip-smacking yoghurt drink – the lassi?

Having delighted deep in our souls with the delicious snacks, we go past the Albert Hall, also known as Government Central Museum, is located amidst the gardens of Ram Niwas Bagh, breathtaking with its Indo-Saracenic architecture and stone ornamentation. One of the largest and the oldest museums in Rajasthan, its exterior would undoubtedly cast a spell on you and leave you mesmerized – as admitted by Rudyard Kipling.

We enter the walled city area of the pink city for a walk through the characteristic corridors of Jaipur. While enjoying the taste of local snacks and drinks enjoy the lively old city humming with cacophony of myriad horns, pass by the colourful market area filled with varieties of items, street vendors selling seasonal veggies & fruits, just about anything you can imagine.

Sneeze to the pungent aromatic spices, of course, we are in the thick of the spice market with a common view of heaps of dry spices viz. red chillies, turmeric powder, dry coriander and many more.You will find yourself attracted by colourful & differently shaped pappadams, sour & sweet pickles, flavourful savouries and the list continues.Truly, an appealing riot of colours and taste!

The grand finale of the tour is a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal – The 5 storeyed building spectacle with a dazzling pyramidal facade and overhanging windows, similar to the honeycomb structure of a beehive.
