Travel to ancient Agra to explore the iconic Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Mughal Kachhpura Village on this full-day private tour, for a maximum of eight people. Your driver will pick you up in the early morning from Delhi and take you to Agra in a private vehicle. Spend around 1.5 hours exploring the Taj Mahal while your local guide explains the impressive architectural foundation and techniques it took to build it. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant, and then explore the historical Agra Fort. Your day finishes with a visit to Kachhpura Village to experience the hidden side of Mughal culture.

Get picked up in a private vehicle from your preferred location in Delhi, such as the airport, the railway station, or your local hotel, and drive to Agra (around four hours). The city has an ancient history dating back to the Mahabharata period. It was India’s capital during Sultan Sikander Lodi's time in the 14th century, and again during the Mughal Empire in the 16th and 17th centuries. Agra is also home of the world-famous Taj Mahal.

On arrival in Agra, meet with a local guide and visit the Taj Mahal for around 1.5 hours. Learn from your guide about the impressive architecture of this historical monument, as well as the love story between the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his late wife Mumtaz Mahal, for whom the Taj was built.

After visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site, enjoy a buffet lunch at a nearby hotel before exploring the historical Agra Fort, where the present-day structure was built by the Mughals. Today, Agra Fort gives you the opportunity to explore the history, culture, and architecture of this ancient civilisation.

Lastly, visit the historical Kachhpura Village to explore a more hidden part of Mughal architecture and culture. See the Humayuns Mosque and the ancient wells of Baoli, and experience the lifestyle of the locals. Enjoy the sunset here before the journey back to your original Delhi departure point in the evening.
