While the last century witnessed a huge drain in the population towards Israel, to this very day, the stands of Jew Town are full of carved wooden furniture and vessels, Jewellery, crockery, wooden pillars, curios, wooden and metal figurines, statuettes, carved wooden furniture and handicrafts like wooden elephants, mirrors, wall hangings and paintings. A simple stroll will sweep you back to a variety of exotic cultures and the remains that contain snippets of their vivid stories.
