It lies approximately 25 km (16 mi) north of the city Haridwar and 43 km (27 mi) southeast of the state capital Dehradun Rishikesh is a holy town with so many Ashrams and it is famous for the yoga world wide. Rishikesh is now world famous as a Yoga Capital of the world. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places to Hindus. Hindu sages and saints have visited. Rishikesh has also been developed as the hub of Adventure Sports in India as there is a multitude of options including Water Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Flying Fox, Mountain Biking, etc.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh (230 kms / 6 hrs drive)

Pass By: Rishikesh, Rishikesh, Dehradun District, Uttarakhand
Start from Delhi proceed to visit Rishikesh. We will pick you from desired location in Delhi Airport/ Hotel / Railway Station through an air-conditioned Car with well experienced English-speaking Driver. Reach Rishikesh and Hotel Check in and Relax. Overnight stay in Rishikesh Hotel.

Day 2: Rishikesh sightseen and stay

Stop At: Rishikesh, Rishikesh, Dehradun District, Uttarakhand
Morning Enjoy yoga in hotel (complimentary in some hotels), and after breakfast sightseeing.

Stop At: Swarg Ashram, Rishikesh India
The ashram was built in the memory of Swami Vishudhanand, the saint better known as Kali Kamli Wala (the saint with a black blanket). It is very popular among foreign tourists mainly because of the ethnic touch.

Ram Jhula is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, located 3 kilometres north-east from the town Rishikesh in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

Stop At: Parmath Niketan Temple, Ram Juhla, Rishikesh India
Parmarth Niketan is situated in the lap of the lush Himalayas, along the banks of the Ganges. The ashram was founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanandji Maharaj.

Situated in the heart of the city Shri Bharat Mandir is the most ancient and the most famous temple.

Triveni Ghat is the biggest and most famous ghat in Rishikesh at the banks of Ganges. Triveni Ghat remains overcrowded with devotee to take ritual baths to get cleansed from their sins.

Lakshman Jhula is a suspension bridge across the river Ganges the bridge connects the two villages of Tapovan in Tehri Garhwal district, on the west bank of the river, to Jonk in Pauri Garhwal district, on the east bank.

Neer Garh Waterfall is a beautiful narrow stream of cool water cascading down a rocky terrain in the midst of a dense green forest. It requires trekking a distance of about a kilometre through the forest and down a cliff to reach the waterfall.

Pawan Dham is one of the ancient temples of the destination. Situated at a distance of 3 km from Har ki Pauri, the temple is known for its ornamental idols. In addition, the glass work, which is designed on the temple walls, makes it one of the most famous tourist spots.
