Day 2: Delhi Attractions
Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Delhi, the capital of India, symbolises the soul of the country. Mesmerise yourself in the splendid sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi, Visit Jama Masjid; the largest mosque in India built in red sandstone with extensive use of marble, with relics of the Prophet and Holy Quran enshrined here, Visit Chandni Chowk, now a chaotically bustling area, typical of real India, containing a mix of stalls, shops, food outlets and temples. Between the mosque and Chandni Chowk is a narrow shop-lined street along which you will be transported by cycle rickshaws on your most photogenic journey of the tour. Visit Qutub Minar; built at a height of 72meters, and being one of the most important landmarks of Delhi, with calligraphically decorated interiors, and also inscriptions of verses of the Holy Quran, visit the Gandhi Memorial; the resting place of the father of the nation, India gate; a memorial tribute with names inscribed of all the soldiers martyred during the Afghan War. Day 3: Delhi Agra (Distance: Approx. 4 Hours)

This morning, we will drive to Agra, which has a rich historical background, amply evident from the numerous historical monuments in and around the city. In the mid-16th century and early 17th century, Agra witnessed a frenzy of building activity, including the Taj Mahal. The structures built during this era were purely in the contemporary Mughal style and of very high quality and still reflects of the remaining monuments till today. Though the heritage of Agra city is linked with the Mughal dynasty, numerous other rulers also contributed to the rich past of this city. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Later this afternoon well start the guided sightseeing of Agra, Visit the impressive 16th century Agra Fort, which was constructed in 1565 by Akbar with later additions made by his son, Jahangir, and grandson, Shah Jahan. Continue to the white marble Tomb of Itimad Ud Daulah, commissioned by the wife of Jahangir in 1622 as the tomb for her father. Described as 'jewel box', or the 'Baby Taj', it is regarded by many as a draft of the Taj Mahal, is the first building to be coated in white marble inlaid with very detailed pietra dura inlay. Day 4: Agra Jaipur
Stop At: Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, J.D.A. Market, Pink City, Jaipur 302002 India
Travel to Jaipur, built of pink stucco and planned in a grid system with wide avenues. The origins of this gorgeous city can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Maharaja Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Today, Jaipur epitomizes the spirit of Rajasthan, retaining its character and history. The afternoon is free to course the bazaar trails and witness the timeless appeal in its colourful markets, the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi-hued costumes. One can find weather-beaten faces with huge colourful turbans, fierce moustaches and lips that spontaneously crease into a heart-warming smile. The city presents a unique synthesis of culture that has to be experienced in order to be appreciated. With its origin buried deep into the pages of history, the city still exudes a magical old-world charm; an aroma of chivalry and romance is evident, despite having evolved into a city that is the hub of modern commercial activity in the region. Day 5: Jaipur
Stop At: Amber Fort Palace, Jaipur 302021 India
After breakfast enjoys the visit to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of Rajasthan and the majestic palace complex to witness a unique system of air-conditioning of the 17th century. Drive by Jeep to the entrance of the fort. a beautiful complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, garden and temples built by Rajas over a period of about two centuries, it still stands in its magnificent state. The red sandstone and white Marble palace have some very interesting apartments- Diwan-I-Am, Ganesh Pol, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Jai Mandir, Man Singh Palace and Shila Devi Temple.
Then visit Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace); built-in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh at a time when women of the royal family had to observe strict purdah, it is believed that this palace was built for them to take pleasure in the processions and various activities taking place in the streets below, without showing themselves and thus enjoying a sense of freedom, visit Jantar Mantar (Observatory); one of the famed observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh is a complex of astronomical instruments, chiselled out of stone which provides fairly accurate information to this day. Day 6: Jaipur Pushkar
Stop At: Pushkar, Pushkar, Ajmer District, Rajasthan
Today we travel to a tiny tranquil town of Pushkar, lying along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake, in a narrow dry valley, overshadowed by impressive rocky hills, offering the most spectacular views of the desert during sunset. It is one of the five most sacred places of pilgrimage of Hindus. As per Indian mythology, the city was created when a lotus leaf fell from Lord Brahmas hand and the holy lake sprouted up there. It is surrounded by hills on three sides and sand dunes on one which makes it the most fascinating. In the afternoon we visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma temple; the only one of its kind in the world. A red spire marks the temple, and over the entrance gateway is the Hans (goose), the symbol of Brahma who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as his place of abode. This is a city of pilgrimage from time immemorial with over 500 temples and Ghats, with each Ghat having its own miraculous qualities and healing powers. Pushkar begets a legacy of timeless architectural heritage and radiates an ambience of peace and spirituality. Puskar is also popular worldwide for its famous Puskar Camel fair, Indias highly rated travel experience, a spectacle attracting 3,00,000 people and up to 20,000 camels, cattle and horses. The evening is at leisure for an overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 7: Pushkar Khejarla Fort

Morning travel to Khejarla. Situated in a rural setting, the 400-year-old, Fort Khejarla offers guests an enlivening experience. The stunning red sandstone monument is a mesmerizing example of the architecture of the Rajputs. Day 8: Khejarla Udaipur
Stop At: Udaipur, Udaipur, Udaipur District, Rajasthan
Before travelling to Udaipur, enjoy a Jeep Safari around Khejarla. It is said that the real India is its rural areas, the country around Khejerla boasts of very interesting landscapes, with the picturesque Aravalli Hills in the east, and broken rocky hills interspersed with farms and scrub forests all around. The Pre- Cambrian Aravalli Hills is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world and a geologists paradise. The Jeep Safari is specially designed tours take you to homesteads of these villagers, into farms, through pretty little hamlets where time seems to have stopped, and we take a break under the shade of drooping acacia next to a very beautiful small shrine dedicated to a folk deity. Later Travel to Udaipur, a kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls that carry the flavour of heroic past, epitomising valour and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of the Lake Pichola is an enticing sight.

Day 9: Udaipur

Proceed for a guided sightseeing tour and visit City Palace museum; which houses a remarkable collection of ancient sculptures, curios, antiques and inscriptions of the bygone era and also an unusual assortment of coins, sculptures, inscriptions, portraits and wall-paintings with each room beautifully ornamented and decorated. The Jagdish temple, built in 1651 is a perfect example of the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. The three-storied temple comprises of beautifully carved pillars, decorated ceilings, painted walls and lush halls, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari (garden of the maids); according to legend, this beautiful pleasure park was built by Maharana Singh II mainly for the recreation of 48 maids of his wife who had accompanied her as her wedding dowry. We also visit the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir which is an Indian folk art museum and has interesting exhibits that include folks dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folks musical instruments, folk deities and paintings followed by a visit too Jag Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Jagdish. Spend your afternoon on the banks of Lake Pichola or at the numerous shops that dot the narrow windings streets of Udaipur. This city has a fascinating blend of sights, sound, experiences and inspiration catering to the imagination of numerous poets, painters and writers. Optionally you can take a sunset cruise at Lake Pichola. Stay overnight in Udaipur.
