Itinerary

Day 1: Travel up to the mountains

Stop At: Gangtok Market, Indira Bypass Rd, Sungava, Gangtok, Sikkim 737101, India
After a short drive, you will soon be able to see the beautiful Teesta River which is a beautiful blue in summers and a magnificent emerald green in winters. On the way, you may choose to stop for a tea or coffee and perhaps some roasted sweet corn when in season. The drive ideally would be a 4 hour journey.

Day 2: Gangtok Tour

Stop At: MG Marg, M G Marg, Gangtok 737101 India
In and around Gangtok city including the famous Tashi View Point, Hanuman and Ganesh Tok, the ropeway/cable car ride, flower show and main street.
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Nathula Pass, Gangtok 737101 India
Either a full day tour or Nathu-La pass visit with Changu Lake and Baba Mandir
Duration: 6 hours

Day 3: Gangtok - Lachen, North Sikkim

Stop At: RIGHTCLIQUE Lamtey Valley Lachen, Main Road, Lachen, Sikkim 737120, India
The new, boutique hotel in Lachen provides our guests with cosy, warm accommodation with friendly staff and great food. On the way you will pass through Mangan and Chungthang and will have great mountain views and pass multiple waterfalls for most of the journey

Day 4: Gurudongmar, Kala Pathar & Chopta Valley along with Lachung transfer

Stop At: Gurudongmar Lake, India
The sacred, wish fulfiling lake at an altitude of 17,100 feet above sea level. You will also visit Kala Pathar from where Mt Everest can be seen and Chopta Valley.
After the morning excursion, you will come back to the hotel, have lunch and proceed to Lachung.

Stop At: Chopta Valley, Lachen India
On the way to Gurudongmar Lake
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Lachung Monastery, Lachung India
Travel to Lachung from Lachen which is another two hours.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Lachung

Stop At: Yumthang Valley, Lachung India
An excursion to the beautiful valley of flowers - Yumthang, which is a rhododendron sanctuary and a haven for naturalists and nature lovers. For an additional charge, you could also go up to Zero Point if you desire.
