The area and bazaars encircling the Taj Mahal is known as Taj ganj and is the most visited place in India. This area was the dwelling place of more than 4000 artisans who used to work for the construction of the Taj Mahal. We would pick you by a car or by tuk – tuk for this activity tour from your hotel at 6 pm and you would be left at a point from where the walking tour starts. You visit the narrow alleys of this area with various small shops. In this area both Hindus and Muslims live together. This area is very close to the South Gate of the Taj called “Sidhi Gate”.

It has commercially expanded its area and has developed. Many shopping arcades and markets. Navigating these old streets and shops is like a dream. You see a vegetable market where different fresh vegetables are sold and later you visit a famous Parasnath Digambar Jain Temple. This temple was constructed by Pt. Banarsidas who was a great advisor to Mughal emperor Shahjahan. This temple holds some manuscripts of that era. In this walk you have the privilege to view the Taj from different angles and to take pictures which would be a thrilling experience. After finishing this activity you will find a place in your car again and will be taken for dinner at a good Indian restaurant. After relishing Indian dishes you will be transferred to your hotel in Agra.
