Taj Mahal Night Entrance Ticket

Watch the marvelous Taj Mahal bathed in the full moon light!
Including the two nights before and after a full moon, the Taj Mahal will have a special night opening, allowing the fantastic complex to be seen bathed in moon light. Entrance is strictly limited to 400 people per day, with ticket sales opening from 10am the previous day. Since it is a highly popular ticket selling out fast, the H.I.S. Agra Tour Desk will take take care of everything on the participant’s behalf.

For purchasing tickets, it is necessary to show copies of the visitors’ passports. After making a reservation, please send pictures of all participants passports via email (pictures can be taken with smartphone) to following address.

Important Notice
Night Tickets can only be sold one day in advance, thus the H.I.S. Agra Tour Desk Staff will procure them accordingly. Also, during the time from 8.30pm to 0.30am entrance is strictly limited to 50 participants every 30 minutes (eight rotations with 400 participants in total). Since tickets are sold on a first come first served basis, there is a possibility that the preferred entrance time is not available anymore. In such cases tickets for the time slots before or after will be procured. Please also note that there might be cases where all time slots are booked out. If so, the full price will be refunded.

Participants will receive the final information regarding ticket availability and procured time slot one day in advance via email. The tickets themselves will be handed over on the participation date at the H.I.S. Agra Tour Desk, which will especially open on days of the Taj Mahal Night Opening from 8am to 8pm.

1. It is not allowed to bring mobile phones or video cameras. Only with normal cameras it is allowed to take pictures (still images only). Binoculars are allowed.
2. Backpacks and other bags are not allowed. Please make sure to leave them at the hotel.
3. Participation is possible on the day of the full moon, as well as the two days before and after. However, on Fridays and in the month of Ramadan the Taj Mahal will be closed.
4. Please make sure to send passport copies of every participant. It is necessary to show them once more for all visitors when entering the Taj Mahal for identity confirmation purposes.
5. It is necessary to arrive at the Taj Mahal Eastern Gate (VIP Parking: Official name Shilpgram) at least 30 minutes prior to the entering time. In case of a late arrival entering will not be possible.
6. It will be only possible to visit the red sandstone area when behind the main gate.
7. There might be cases where the Taj Mahal Night Visit will be cancelled on the same day on short notice, for example due to weather or safety concerns. If so, tickets unfortunately cannot be refunded.
