Valley of Flowers covers a vast expanse of 87.50 sq kms with myriad alpine flowers. It is situated at an elevation of 3,658 mts above sea level. You will encounter numerous cascading waterfalls on the route to Valley of Flowers. The valley of flowers was declared as the National Park of India in the year 1982 and it is now a world heritage site. The virgin beauty of this mystical valley has always lured botanists, nature lovers and adventure lovers.

Itinerary

Day 1: DELHI – HARIDWAR (FLIGH / TRAIN / DRIVET) ALT: 0294 M

Stop At: Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, Har Ki Pauri, Near City Control Room, Haridwar 249401 India
Arrive at Haridwar railway station / Dehradun airport or drive direct from Delhi to Haridwar (220 km/06 hrs). Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to hotel and check in. In the evening, visit famous Haridwar aarti ceremony at the ghat of Ganga. Overnight is at the hotel in Haridwar.

Day 2: HARIDWAR – PIPALKOTI (245 KM DRIVE / 08 HR) ALT: 1260 M

Stop At: Pipalkoti, Pipalkoti, Chamoli District, Uttarakhand
Today morning, drive to Pipalkoti

Day 3: PIPALKOTI – GOVINDGHAT – GHANGHARIA (57 KM DRIVE / 02 HR - 13 KM TREK) ALT: 1828 M - 3028 M

Stop At: Govindghat, Govindghat, Chamoli District, Uttarakhand
Today, bit early in the morning drive to Govindghat. Upon arrival at Govindgha, start your trek from to Ghangharia. Arrive Ghangharia, check in at the hotel / Camp. Rest of the day is to relax. Overnight is at the hotel Ghangharia.

Ghangharia is a small and a beautiful hamlet which is used as the base camp and the last human habitation towards Valley of flowers and Hemkund Sahib.

Day 4: GHANGHARIA – VALLEY OF FLOWERS – GHANGHARIA (03-07 KM TREK) ALT: 3658 M - 3028 M

Stop At: Valley of Flowers National Park, 246443 India
Today morning trek from Ghangharia to Valley of flowers, one can go deeper into the valley to explore it more. After visiting Valley return to Ghangharia. Overnight is at the hotel in Ghangharia

Valley of flowers national park is the second core zone of Nanda Dei biosphere reserve. It is nestled at the west Himalayan region, situated in Bhyundar valley at an elevation of 3658 M above sea level. The valley is rich in varied flora and fauna and was declared as the National Park of India in 1982 which later also become a UNESCO world heritage site. The virgin beauty is mystical and surrounded by awesome waterfall always lures botanist, nature lovers and adventurers.

Day 5: GHANGHARIA – HEMKUND SAHIB – GHANGHARIA (07 KM TREK) ALT: 4329 M - 3028 M

Stop At: Hemkund Sahib, Ghangaria, Gobindghat, Chamoli India
Morning start your steep trek to Hemkund Sahib. After visiting Hemkund Sahib return to Ghangharia. Overnight is at hotel in Ghangharia. Situated at the altitude of 4329 M Hemkund Sahib is the highest Sikh Shrine. Hemkund literally suggests ‘Lake of Snow’ and the pristine water of this lake is as cold as snow which gets fozen during winters. It is surrounded by numerous waterfalls, dense forests, small glaciers and enchanting view of Himalayas are the key highlights of this 07 kms trekking route. The weather in this altitude changes very rapidly and lighter oxygen makes it bit difficult to trek.

The circumference of the crystal clear lake is 2 kms and there is also a temple dedicated to Laxman, brother of Lord rama located in the vicinity of the Sikh Shrine.

Day 6: GHANGHARIA – GOVINDGHAT – RUDRAPRAYAG (13 KMS TREK - 135 KM DRIVE / 05 HR) ALT: 1828 M - 0610 M

Stop At: Rudra Prayag, Rudra Prayag, Rudraprayag District, Uttarakhand
Today, in the morning start your trek down to Govindghat, from here drive to Rudraprayag.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Overnight is at the hotel in Rudraprayag.
