15Days No Way Back East To West Cross Borneo Adventure

The Cross Borneo expedition trip lead you to an unhabitat Virgin cloud forest of the Muller Mountains East  to the West Kalimantan,Mahakam & Kapuas River at the other end of Indonesian Borneo Island. Cross Borneo is a moderate challenging trip, which not only need a good health in body to stand the rough terrain but the more over a psychotic health to stand the limits, and un-expectations it all will cause. You will trek for 6 to 7 days through unhabituated primary cloud rain forests in the Muller mountains. Hunt, and fish for extra protein. The river ride to reach the most remote part of this island will lead you through heavy fast stream rapids, while the long boat with speed engines lead you through the Rocks and amazing Limestone walls standing 40-70 meters strait in the sky. The art full Dayak Culture and Longhouses, the area is covered by mangrove, swamp, and lowland rain forest. The Tourism spots are the Villages and river life.

Day 1: ARRIVAL - LOAJANAN - MAHAKAM RIVER (LD)On arrival at Sepinggan International Airport Sultan Aji M. Sulaiman, meeting services then transfer to river town of Loajanan, where we will board our house-boat and start travel along the Mahakam River.  Dinner & Overnight on house boat. Day 2: MAHAKAM RIVER - MUARA MUNTAI – MANCONG - MELAK . (BLD)visit the Muara Muntai village to see the activity of local people, then transfer by motorized canoe across the Jempang Lake to Mancong the Homeland of Dayak Banuaq tribe if the water level permit. On arrival a welcome ceremony will held by Chief of Dayak and following by traditonal dance with his people. Afternoon return the boat and cruise up the Mahakam river to Melak. Dinner & overnight on the boat. Day 3: MELAK – KERSIK LUWAI – EHENG – TERING – LONG BAGUN. (BLD)Morning arrive in Melak, after breakfast sight seeing at local market then transfer to Kersik Luway observe the Nature Black Orchid forest. Then continue drive to Eheng visit the Old traditional Dayak Long house where the tribe still living together with their daily activity such as made the rattan basket and hunting wild pig in the jungle. Afterwards drive to Tering and catch the regular speed boat crusie further up the Mahakam river to Long Bagun. Afternoon arrive in Long Bagun proceed to check in simple Losmen Pole Wali . Day 4: LONG BAGUN – TIONG OHANG (BLD) bfast then board into the cruise up the Mahakam river by passing several rapids, wall rock, waterfall through to village.  Afternoon arrive in Tiong Ohang proceed to check in at simple Losmen for your accommodation. Free at leisure and see the activity around the village of local people.DAY 5: TIONG OHANG - ATIKOP HILL - MUARA SAITE (BLD)Board by motorized canoe passing several small rapids. Start trek today. Overnight jungle campsite.DAY 6: MUARA SAITE – MUARA CUHUTING (BLD)Continue our trekking through primary rainforest and rivers. Overnight jungle campsite Day 7: MUARA CUHUTING – MULLER RANGE (BLD)Continue trekking through the Muller Range and will pass the border East and West Borneo. Overnight jungle campsite Day 8: MULLER RANGE – BUAH KIU RIVER (BLD)Continue our trekking through primary rainforest and rivers. Overnight jungle campsite Day 9: BUAH KIU RIVER – BUNGAN LEA (BLD)Continue our trekking  (B,L,D)Day 10: BUNGAN LEA – BORAKAN (BLD)Continue our trekking . Overnight  Day 11: BORAKAN – BATU BOBO (BLD)Continue our trekking . Overnight 12: BATU BOBO – TANJUNG LOKANG (BLD)today is last day trekking . Overnight at village lodge. Day 13: TANJUNG LOKANG – PUTUS SIBAU (BLD)Head down the Kapuas river to Putussibau by long boat. . Overnight at hotel. Day 14: PUTUS SIBAU – PONTIANAK (BLD) transfer to airport and board on the flight to Pontianak. Upon arrival, city tour around the city and visit Equator Monument. Afterwards drive to hotel for your accommodation and rest.Day 15: PONTIANAK – DEPARTURE (B)Breakfast at hotel, free time , and ent of adventure
