Mount Rinjani Trekking 2nd Summit Start Tetebatu-Timbanuh 3 Days Jaya Trekker

Climbing Mount Rinjani to the crater rim Tetebatu and 2nd summit Rinjani 3,500m is a new program that provides a complete experience walking through pristine protected forests, rivers, savanna with edelweiss flowers and camping on the edge of the crater rim Timbanuh with views of Segara Anak Lake and New Volcano. At the second day climbing to the second highest peak on Mount Rinjani (while the main peak is closed due to a landslide path) and returns to Timbanuh and Tetebatu.

Itinerary

Trekking Rinjani start Timbanuh to crater rim Timbanuh, 2nd summit Rinjani 3.500m next day return to Timbanuh and Tetebatu.
Day 1 Trek: At 7.30 am start at Timbanuh through the forest and cross the rain forest, the river to pos2. And in the jungle we can see the various types of wood and moss, forest vegetables that can cook naturally.
After walking for three hours we arrived in pos2 where we break for lunch and take rest 1 hour.
After that continue the journey towards pos3 for 2 hours, to rest for 15 minutes with some snacks and fruit and enjoying savanna on Mount Rinjani.
Then continue through the savanna to the rim Timbanuh 2.800m for 2 hours and then camp here, enjoying the sunset, dinner and sleep in tents.
Day 2 Trekking :
Wake up at 3:30 am for a continental breakfast with bread and coffee, tea or milk and then 4:00 start climbing to the 2nd summit 3.500m for 2 hours.
On top enjoy the view of the lake Segara Anak, majestic mountains and islands of Sumbawa and then back to basecamp for 1 hour to rest and breakfast.
After enough rest we return to pos2 for 3 hours and stop here for lunch.
After lunch continue down to Timbanuh and our car will drop back to the hotel in Tetebatu.
