Guinness Family Estate , Follies & North Bull Island

I have spent 30 years working in Entertainment Industry and recently was granted the only Permit to do this. Having lived next to this estate and spent 50 years exploring it I can bring you on a walk not known by the public, but was an everyday stroll for the Guinness family.

The tours will start at site of old mansion with a full Guinness family history including visuals. From there we continue along the many hidden tree lined walkways visiting the Follies created by them and learning about each of them and their history in full. We will see the Tree of Life and North Bull Island and influences of Captain William Bligh (HMS Bounty 1798). The Tour will finish just off the main avenue in the Walled Gardens visiting the stunning Shell House, a visit to the Internationally acclaimed Rose Gardens and back to the beautiful Red Stables.
