Irish Song Workshop with National Folk Theatre of Ireland

A unique cultural experience where travellers can learn authentic Irish song in the National Folk Theatre Training Academy from Ireland’s leading traditional Irish performers. Members of the National Folk Theatre Choir and core cast from the National Folk Theatre teach old original songs in the Irish language and in the unique Irish style. The songs have been passed down through the generations over many years and now are part of the National Folk Theatre repertoire. Siamsa Tíre is Ireland's only theatre company dedicated to the preservation and development of Irish arts - music, song and dance. This hour long workshop is not too complicated and the workshop is adjusted to the varying abilities of the group.

After the workshop, you can enjoy a guided tour of the iconic Siamsa Tíre Theatre and Arts centre and visit the Siamsa Galleries. You can also take photos using props and costumes from stage.
