Explore a unique ecclesiastical historical building built in 1798. Get access to all the common art materials you are likely to need . Enjoy light refreshments, unlimited support and the private space you need to discover, reflect and create. Enjoy the journey of discovery and creative experience, but do not be concerned by the material output. That is not what this informal and supportive introductory experience is about!

Itinerary

You will be given a personal tour of the gallery, with an overview of current exhibition works. We will then break for light refreshments to individually discuss what you hope to create, before being guided through the materials available.

You will be given personal time and space to reflect and create in the unique atmosphere and take in the inspirational views. You may see wild swans nearby, or be drawn by the vista at lough Bunny or perhaps Kilmacduagh Roundtower (Ireland's tallest), but wherever your inspiration comes from, we are there to support and assist in whatever artistic direction you pursue. Complimentary easels, where necessary are also provided.

Previous artistic experience is not necessary. Indeed some of the most interesting art ever exhibited in the gallery was produced by people with no formal 'artistic training' or qualifications.
