After the pick up from at the meeting point, you will cross the border into Jordan, and make your way to Petra along the desert highway. Petra is also known as the rose-red city, a name it gets from the wonderful color of the rock from which many of the city’s structures were carved. The Nabataeans buried their dead in intricate tombs that were cut out of the mountainsides and the city also had temples, a theater, and following the Roman annexation and later the Byzantine influence, a colonnaded street, and churches. In addition to the magnificent remains of the Nabataean city, human settlement and land use for over 10,000 years can be traced in Petra, where great natural, cultural, archaeological and geological features merge. Day 1: Tel Aviv pick up, border crossing & Petra

Stop At: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel
03:00 /03:20 Pick up from the meeting points of Hotel David Intercontinental (03:00 am) and Hotel Grand Beach (03:20 am) in Tel Aviv and transfer to the border in Eilat toward Petra in our new and fully air- conditioned vehicles.

Transport time is approximately 2-3 hours, from Eilat border to Petra site. Passing through a vast and comfortable deserted highway, following through a scenic route on the mountain side, and arriving at Petra's historical site.
