Caesaria, an ancient Meditteranean port intitially designed by Herod & dedicated to Ceaser Augustus. The Crusaders who occupied the site at a later date also left their architectural mark on the complex.
As an entrance port into the Holyland it has always been an important site to all those that occupied it. Consequently it accommodates Jewish, Christian & Muslim histories.
Zichron Yaakov, a picturesque village in the Southern Carmel mountains that played an important role in the pre & early state years.
Megiddo, located on a strategic junction of the via Maris (an ancient trade route from Egypt to Syria), has a history stretching back 6000 years. To many evangelical Christians it is the location of the final battle between good & evil, namely Armaggedon.

Where Herod worked his architectural magic developing the port city & dedicating it to the Roman emperor Augustus Ceaser.
The Crusaders utilized the port when occuping the Holyland & left their mark on the city.

Stop At: Zichron Yaakov, Zichron Yaakov, Haifa District

Founded by Baron de Rothschild in 1882 & located in the Carmel mountains. One of its past prominent families were very influencial during WW 1.
Inundated with resturants & coffee bars, the town has a very village like atmosphere.

Stop At: Megiddo, Israel

Due to its strategic location on a junction of the Via Maris, it has been a battleground from ancient to present times. According to Protestant belief it is the location of the final battle between good & evil, namely Armageddon.
