The tour includes the following must-see spots : Palatina Chapel (Palermo) – Valley of Temples by night (Agrigento) – Sicilian cookies tasting (Erice), Granita or Cannolo (Noto) – Historical center and Seaview (Cefalù) – Greek ruins with seaview (Selinunte), 3 Dinners with Sicilian specialty

Day 1: Arrival (Catania airport)

Be welcomed (possibility to visit Catania center, if time permitted) and transfer to a very nice country hotel or wine resort in the Etna area.

Includes overnight accommodation and wine tasting with food.

Day 2: Etna and Taormina

We arrive at 1.800 meters at Rifugio Sapienza, in the amazing landscape of Mount Etna. Then visit Taormina with a beautiful walk for shopping. Transfer to a farmhouse, immersed in the Sicilian countryside, close to Noto. Includes overnight accommodation and dinner.

Day 3: Syracuse and Noto

Siracusa: archeological park with Greek Theatre, the Altar of Hieron II, the Ear of Dionysius, the Latomia del Paradiso. Ortigia, cathedral, Piazza Duomo, Aretusa fountain. Noto: visit of the spectacular historical center. Dinner at the farmhouse

Day 4: Piazza Armerina and Agrigento

After breakfast, depart to Piazza Armerina, in the center of Sicily there is a Roman Villa - beautifully conserved, the Villa “Del Casale” dating back to the IV century. Famous for its mosaics, it shows us how the Romans used to live - precisely weaving policrome arranged in a skillful way to form mosaic. Agrigento is located in south west Sicily. In order to arrive there, you will cross the heart of the island. There are many breathtaking sites you will be able to admire and visit – some temples to look out for at the Valley of Temples (Giunone, Concordia, Ercole) and of course the archaeological zone (Zeus, Dioscuri). Day 5: Selinunte, Salt way road, Erice

Breakfast. Selinunte, the biggest archaeological park in Europe, we will visit the Acropolis and temples E-F-G. Stop for a picture along the salt way road from Marsala to Trapani. Then visit of historical center of Erice, beautiful medieval city of Sicily where we try the famous cookies made by Maria. Overnight in Palermo.

Day 6: Palermo - Monreale

Visit of Palermo: Cathedral, Palatina chapel, Pretoria square, Martorana church etc. and Monreale, very interesting and spectacular the Duomo (Norman architecture), beautiful the cloister next to duomo. Overnight.

Day 7: Cefalù - Transfer Palermo airport

Breakfast. Visit of Cefalù with a beautiful Duomo and a view in front of sea.Transfer to Palermo airport.
