Meet clients under the Vault of Palazzo del Podestà. Introduction of the tour to the participants. Walking tour outside and inside the most important and historic buildings of the city centre, either civil or religious architectures. The clients will have an indepth into the Bolognese culture starting from the foundation of the town during Etruscan and Roman age until the present days through a lively and open/interactive discussion about society and traditions over the times. Customers will have an explanation of the most remarkable feauters of this city: the influence of the religious order, the presence of brilliant local artists and the birth of the firt University in the world. In the end, the tour will have a conclusion inside the area of the market to see how important food and gastronomy are for the citizens of this city.

I will provide the city walking guided tour around Bologna downtown starting from a meeting point (Palazzo del Podestà). Customers will join the group and assemble under the vault of the big building. 

1st stop: the square (Piazza Maggiore and its buildings)

2nd stop: Neptune Statue

3rd stop: Palazzo D'accursio (Municipality)

4th stop: San Petronio (visit inside the church at the most relevant chapels)

5th stop: Portico del Pavaglione and Palazzo dell'Archiginnasio (the first single Seat of the University of Bologna)

6th stop: Saint Mary of Life

7th stop: Quadrilatero and the markeplace

8th stop: Back to the portico of Palazzo del Podestà to finish the tour

Tickets to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Vita are not included. Access to the main basilica is for free. Access to Archiginnasio Palace groundfloor and first floor is for free, except for the Anathomical Theatre which is not included. 

Meals and refreshments in the are of the Quadrilatero are not included.
