Capri Blue Grotto Sorrento and Pompeii from Rome

From Naples you can easily visit 3 of the main locations that cannot be missed. You will get to see Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii. It may seem overwhelming, but it will be worth your time! Meet your guide at the Central Station of Naples, grab a taxi to the port and get the jetfoil to Capri. Here you will start by visiting the world famous Blue Grotto for its bright blue coloured water. If there is bad weather you will take a boat ride around the island. Once on land you will go to the city centre of Capri. Keep an eye out for any celebrities, they also like to relax in the Piazzetta of Capri! Next go to the port by Funicolare and get the jetfoil to Sorrento. Here you will enjoy some time shopping in the boutiques of the main street and enjoy the stunning views. A driver will then come pick you up to take you to Pompeii. Here you will spend some time as if you were in the roman age, listening to the explanations of you expert guide. At the end your driver will take you back to Naples.

Grotta Azzurra

The Grotta Azzurra is a cave with a really small entrance. you can go inside with a small boat rowed by a professional local that will sing along folkloristic Neapolitan songs. The Blue Grotto is famous for the colour of the sea water inside the cave. It is of an unbelievable bright blue that will leave you speechless. However if there is bad weather or high tide, the cave is closed to the public.

Sorrento is the first stop of the Amalfi Coast. It is located on a peninsula and offers a marvellous view of the Bay of Naples and the Vesuvius. Here you will get to see the main street of the city centre and the tiny alleys full of boutiques and lemon flavoured goods.

Pompei is famous around the world for being the best preserved ruin site of the roman age. “Thanks” to the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius, the lava and ashes enveloped everything perfectly. Walking along the streets of the ruins it will truly seem to be in the roman era.
