My name’s Francesca, a food blogger, cooking class chef and above all an Authentic Tuscan Food Ambassador. I was born in the hearth of Tuscany and I still live here in my family country​ home​ where my cooking classes take place. My cooking classes are pure passion and they are not just “a recipe to take home”, are a journey into private and local history, memories, proverbs & legends, something you cannot find in a commercial class. I spent my childhood around the fire cooking with my great grand mother and growning up along with all of the flavors of all that is typically Tuscan, not wasting anything,respecting the seasons and making dishes with few ingredients; many of the traditional dishes are without meat, so vegetarian, as once they couldn't afford it. My wish, is to share my Family recipes with all the food lovers in the world for saving ancestors’ teachings through the time.You’re welcome in my home, ready to show you “my vegetarian Tuscany”

I am happy to welcome you in my home among olive trees & vineyards. My kitchen is big, with a spacious table, simply and fully equipped.
We will prepare 2 traditional Vegetarian Tuscan dishes from scratch of the area between Florence and Arezzo or tradional italian ones. Also sauces for pasta are from scratch.
Dishes vary upon the seasons following recipes of my ancestors as Pappa al pomodoro , Ribollita, Ravioli ricotta & Spinach, Pici (pasta) Aglione, Pici Cacio e Pepe, Orecchiette, Tagliatelle, Spaghetti, Bruschettas, Veggie Carbonara sauce, Tiramisu, homemade Pizza.
I use fresh herbs from my garden and extravergin olive oil from the groves around my home.
After cooking, we enjoy the meal together as a family with local Chianti wine . If the weather is nice we can enjoy the food in the garden.​ You will receive my recipes in English so you can cook them again when you are back home and bring in the world my family's secrets; I have just started the blog "The12Italy" about heritage cooking. If you book quite in advance, the menu​ can be personalized.​ Discounted prices for groups

Sample Menu

• Mix Bruschette - Bruschette with traditional tuscan bread with: fresch tomatoes, beans, kale, paprika, peppers, zucchini, cheese and vegetables
• Pici typical pasta with veggie carbonara - Pici pasta from scratch, with eggs and pecorino cheese. The procedure is "carbonara" sauce without meat
• Pappa al pomodoro - Pappa al pomodoro is a thick tuscan bread soup typically prepared with fresh tomatoes, bread, garlic, extravergin olive oil
• Tiramisu - Tiramisu has no need to be presented. In my classes I offer the traditional recipe of my family's bakery
• Ravioli spinach & ricotta - The most beloved dish from my guests. We prepare eggs dough from scratch, filling ricotta spinach, butter fresh sage and parmisan sauce on them
• Tagliatelle with false ragù - Eggs dough from scratch for tagliatelle and ragu' sauce without meat that in Chianti area is called " Sugo Scappato Finto"
