Montefalco has still a medieval setting, surrounded by thirteenth-century walls and towers. The main square of Montefalco, has particular mostly circular shape where you can find the Town Hall with its bell tower, the former Church of San Filippo Neri today a theatre, the ancient Oratory of Santa Maria and some noble residences of the 16th century. Everyone calls it "the railing of Umbria" for its panoramic position, offering a breath taking view over Assisi birth place of San Francis, the village of Spoleto and Perugia.
