Itinerary

Very interesting excursion that allows you to discover the southern slope of Etna.
Starting from 2500 meters above sea level (cable car arrival terminal) we will cross the 2001 eruption and then admire the great depression: Valle del Bove, which deeply marks the eastern side of the volcano.

Coming down, we will reach the cable car arrival terminal again
Excursion details

- Departure from our Ashàra mobile Info Point at the Sapienza Refuge square, Etna south tourist resort, 1920 m.s.l.m
- Ascent by cable car up to 2500 meters above sea level, starting point for trekking
- Trekking of about 4 hours round trip

The cable car ticket up to 2500 meters above sea level is not included in the excursion cost but must be paid locally, at a cost of 30.00 euros return.

At the discretion of the guide and for safety reasons, given the continuous and unpredictable evolution of the volcanic activity, the excursions could undergo variations and, above all, could be modified according to the weather conditions and volcanic activity.
