The experience allows you to reach an altitude of 3000m and to admire the summit craters up close. You will reach Torre del filosofo with the cable car and off-road vehicles and then walk along the edge of one of the great craters of the 2002 eruption.

We start by passing the Catania waterfront, from where we can see the stacks of Acitrezza

Stop At: Mount Etna, 95030 Catania, Sicily Italy

Once you reach Rifugio Sapienza, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, climb with the cableway (gondola and 4x4 bus) to an altitude of 2900m (in Torre del Filosofo) and walk around the crater formed during the 2002 eruption

Stop At: Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna, 95030 Nicolosi, Sicily Italy

Walk on one of the ancient craters. Later visit to one of the lava flow caves along the route.
