Experience a fabulous food and wine tour in Ferrara in contact with some traditional products. You will be guided by an extremely expert guide who will be able to involve you and fascinate you between stories and stories. The path starts at a historic bakery. You can admire the preparation of the typical local bread: the "Ferrarese couple", whose birth dates back to 1536 during the Este Duchy. The famous ‘couple’ Igp is characterized by a particular shape consisting of two croissants of bread twisted and joined together. Continuing the journey in absolute harmony and goodness, you can also learn about another Igp brand product: the classic 'panpepato'. It is a dessert made from chocolate, spices and dried fruit whose recipe dates back to the 15th century. At the final aperitif you will also taste the typical cold cuts or, optionally, the "cappellacci di zucca", the first dish of the local tradition. All accompanied by Bosco Eliceo wines, produced from a vine whose provenance dates back to vicissitudes of 1528!

The Cathedral, one of the symbolic monuments of the city, carries outside and inside the signs of time, from all the historical eras that have marked the city of art.

A splendid synthesis of different styles, from the Romanesque façade in the lower part and in Gothic style in the upper register, to the various areas inside, today in classic style. Among the most significant works, "The martyrdom of San Lorenzo", by Guercino and the "Last Judgment" by Bastianino.

The Duomo, dedicated to San Giorgio and the Madonna, by master Nicholaus, saw the draft apse by Biagio Rossetti, while the majestic bell tower, designed by Leon Battista Alberti, unfortunately remained unfinished.
