Start with a typical Italian breakfast of a latte or espresso with brioches. Then follow a historical itinerary through Genoa, stopping to eat local specialties like  focaccia alla cipolla (onions) or cheese, pizzata, tripe, farinata, octopus, pasta al pesto, and tiramisu, while sipping wines in a selected number of bars and wine tasting rooms. Then a real meal in one of the most well located and good restaurant of town, few meters from the Cathedral that let us to ask for a forgiveness straight away, as we have indulged in so much food :-). Then Palaces and Marble, Somptuos Building and the First Real Estate Project of the World ( A.D 1565 ) . Enjoy a gourmet walking tour through Genoa to sample delicious street food like focaccia alla cipolle (onions) or al formaggio (with cheese) and pizzata (mixed pizza). You will taste trippa alla Genovese (tripe), farinata (thin breads made from chickpeas), and boiled octopus with potatoes. Then, after these entrées, head straight to one of the last real trattoria left in the city to get a delicious dish of amazing trenette al pesto (pesto pasta). Red and white wine is on hand to enjoy with the meal, and Italian-style coffee with 'amaro' will close the show.

For anyone who is still hungry, we suggest a tiramisù or, if available, a panna cotta. The stroll to your next destination doesn't need to be done on foot - taxis are nearby.
